“ Our first visit to Mabe's was great! They were very busy with a big party downstairs, and every table full in the main dining room. The servers cautioned about wait time for pizza but we weren't put off and appreciated the heads up. Ordered a salad to share which came out fast, then the pizza and pasta. Everything was tasty, service was excellent, and the atmosphere very local/friendly. We're on the front end of 4 years of visiting Luther College so we'll be back. ”

The garlic bread was great and loved the takeout container(as someone needing to store extra pizza for later in a small hotel fridge, it was a god send lol!) The pizza was just fantastic. Nice thin crust pizza cut into little squares. GREAT variety of toppings. Everything about it just tasted perfect. Very much felt just as awesome in there as all the small pizza joints in my midwestern hometown! Service was amazingly outstanding! ”

“ Having attended Luther College, Mabe's was a fixture of many events/gatherings during my time there. I stopped into the restaurant with a friend to enlighten him about a local favorite while stopping through. He and I both got Special sized pizzas (I got four meat and he got breakfast pizza). I was reminded of how great Mabe's is and he was exposed to it for the first time. I wasn't sure if the Special size would be big enough for me but it ended up being perfect for one person. The service was great and our server was very friendly. I'll definitely be back again. 5 stars from me! ”
